Our main overarching scripture for the day is Matthew 16:13-28. The conference starts with the understanding that before we discover ‘who we are in Christ’ we must first acknowledge who Christ is. This is the foundation to seeing that in Christ we are a NEW creation. (2 Corinthians 5:17) From there we will move on to our purpose being to simply glorify Him with our lives (1 Corinthians 10:23-33) Finally, the last hour and half we will take a look at how that impacts each of our lives, therefore discovering what our days tangibly look like. (Psalm 86)
identity . purpose . tangible ways to live… understanding this allows girls to make the right decisions on what to wear, how “far” is “too far” in a relationship, and how to treat their body. We are going back to the basics and challenging the girls to decide what they are living for.
The FLOURISH conference is a mixture of interactive teaching from God’s Word, personal stories, random yet meaningful games, visual aids, interviews from people who are actually living this out, engaging worship and intentional fellowship. We will provide food and each girl will leave with a journal/3 month devotional to help keep them on track as they continue to learn these principles and integrate them into their lives. We desire for these girls to not only walk away with a rad experience, but also a tangible means of encouraging their relationship with God to be more intentionally active in the months to come. [Hence, the take home journal/devotional.]
The event is one day only – Saturday, March 27th from 9am-6pm at North Coast Presbyterian Church in Encinitas, California but we encourage you to make a weekend out of it with your girls. Email us for information on hotels and ideas for what to do on Sunday…there are great beaches to take them to for a time of solitude and discussion! We would LOVE to help you out with any of the details!!
[We will email you a confirmation ticket after your sign up.]
We are EXCITED to see what God is going to do!!!

“Megan is one of the most passionate followers of Christ that I have ever met. She lives her life with an insane amount of boundless energy and genuine love for others. She is one of the funniest, whittiest, most talented persons you will probably ever come in contact with but overshadowing all that is her incredible love for Jesus. As her friend, I’ve seen and witnessed personally how she lives each day in hopes to bring glory to God in ALL she does. As she speaks and leads, I know your girls will be encouraged, motivated and challenged to join her in living a life that FLOURISHES, not for their own sake, but so that others may be drawn to our Heavenly Father through them.” –rachel closs
Megan speaks at churches, high schools, colleges and various retreats throughout the country and has had the privilege of serving at HumeLake Christian Camps as the Recreational Leader (AKA“Spirit Girl”) for the last three years. Megan is also a Professor and the Assistant Coach for the Women’s Basketball team at Azusa Pacific University and travels the US as the youngest speaker for Kiwanis International.”

“Rachel is a servant leader. She has the abilities and talents to fill many roles in the lives of her friends, family members and strangers. She has SUCCESSFULLY excelled as a graphic designer and I know that it is because she puts the care and intentional thoughts into every project. This is mirrored in the care and intentionally she puts into every relationship. She humbly leads young people as she offers guidance when necessary, laughs when the time is appropriate and is always willing to just sit and listen and enable someone to talk through their life. She enables others to flourish because as they walk away from time with her, they feel empowered to be more confident yet humble: recognizing that they are in need of the Lord, yet can be completely confident because God DELIGHTS in using them." –kimi gros
Rachel worked as a graphic designer, assistant student ministry director and then eventually the student ministry director at North Coast Presbyterian Church for seven years. She has also worked as a Lead Counselor at HumeLake Christian Camps and was the host for the Unveiling Girls Conference in Carlsbad, CA. Rachel is now a freelance graphic designer and pursuing her passion for art by designing gift books for Harvest House Publishers, gift product lines for Demdaco and Brownlow Gifts and several other local companies.

“My sister is the most creative person that I know. Her neverending list of talents and accomplishments only reveal a single sprinkle on the cupcake of Kimo Fate Gros' life. Just to name a few: she has a pilots license, was a professional country singer who toured all around the United States, has a masters degree in Clinical Psychology, single handedly managed, directed, and performed in a sold out concert to benefit and uplift the troops called "I Salute You," and rowed for a crew team and played soccer for UCI. What is extraordinarily unique about Kimi is her desire to use each and every gift she has toward the uplifting of everyone around her. She has developed a lifestyle of encouraging and enabling others to flourish. She has done that my whole life and here I am... 25 years old and believing in myself BECAUSE my sister has and will never stop believing.”–megan fate
Kimi obtained her pilot's license, toured as a singer in a country trio, organized and produced a benefit concert for troops, created/directed Imago Dei women’s conferences while earning her Masters Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, and she has written/published a children's book. Kimi is the wife of a youth pastor and has been involved in leading worship/ministry for many years. Her desire is to help instill confidence in young girls to pursue interests, hobbies, and passions that might broaden their horizons and allow them to live life to the fullest.
